COURSE DESCRIPTION
Provide the learner with theoretical knowledge of the Aircraft systems. The learner will be able to perform system, powerplant, component and function tests as specified in the aircraft manual. Demonstrate the use, interpret and apply appropriate documentation including structural repair manual, troubleshooting manual etc. Correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect of fault diagnosis and rectification to maintenance manual levels. Describe procedures for replacement of components unique to aircraft type.
Target Group
- B1 or B2 Licensed Engineers who wish to add G500 to their Aircraft Maintenance License.
- Maintenance personnel who hold a basic AML and wish to add type ratings.
Recommended Minimum Requirements
B1 or B2 Basic AML.
Exam
Multi-choice written examinations.
Certificate
Easa Part 147 Approved Type Certificate or Recognition.
Course Content
Detailed training material on G500 Airframe and Engine system operation covering each ATA chapter applicable to the aircraft type. Discussion on service history and common maintenance issues on the type.
Instruction Method
Instructor-led classroom presentation.
Completion Standard
Per Easa Part 147 regulation.
How will this Course Benefit me?
This course with the G500 practical course will add the G500 Type rating to your AML. Students wishing to attain their first type rating also require Initial Type OJT in addition to the Theory and Practical training.
